Steps to Connect your 365 Tenant for Data Collection

365 Analytics requires a Microsoft Application consent. 365 Analytics Reporting uses application consent to collect data from your Office 365 tenant. Application consent is used to collect data via Graph API.

This article explains how to authorize the 365 Analytics Application for Read-Only access to your Office 365 Tenant for use with 365 Analytics.

It is important that you complete all the steps

Step 1

Browse to the URL that SoftwareONE has provided.

You will either receive the URL from the SoftwareONE support team or you will see a banner in 365 Analytics that the Data Collector requires additional permissions.

Step 2

Sign in to “PyraCloud” with the agreed on “Global Admin” account.

Note: The PyraCloud logon password is what was set in PyraCloud. This is not your Office 365 account password.

Step 3

Once you have logged in, click on “Connect Tenant”.

Step 4

Enter your Office 365 Tenant ID.

Step 5

Now enter your Office 365 Global Admin account logon and password.

Note: This is not your PyraCloud account. Please use your Office 365 Azure AD account for this logon. The user must be a Global Admin for authorization to work.

Step 6

You will now be asked to authorize 365 Analytics access to read your Office 365 Tenant. Please click “Accept”.

Step 7

Once you have completed these steps. Please notify your SoftwareONE contact.
